Main Responsibilities - Joni manages all aspects of UWM's spiritual direction program. She educates others about our program and spiritual direction in general. She enrolls and supports our students, hires and coordinates faculty and mentors, and provides general oversight of the curriculum.
Personal Info - Joni received her training in spiritual direction from the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest, where she earned a Master's in Spiritual Formation. She belongs to the Austin Area Spiritual Directors Community and is a member of Spiritual Director's International.
She lives just outside of Austin, TX with her adorable and wonderful wife Tammy and Sam the chick magnet dog.
Ministry Info - Joni has been a member of Unity Church of the Hills in Austin TX for over 20 years, where she has served among many teams, including as a prayer chaplain, platform speaker, and member of the ministry support team.
