Description
In this workshop, you will receive an overview of: The Arcs of Unitive Justice, Unitive Circle questions, and how to apply these in personal life and ministry for conflict resolution. We will discuss how the arcs of Unitive Justice relate to values. Unitive Circles use the restorative circle process to bring understanding, connection, and healing of the root of conflict. Our society has had a culture of punitive justice dating back to the Hebrew Scriptures, “an eye for an eye” justice. It is not surprising how quickly we go to punitive mindset when we feel wronged. The Unitive Circle process brings people to the table to create connection, understanding, collaboration, and solution. It provides a pathway to understanding the underlying pain of conflict. The action of applying restorative circles to personal, cultural, and societal breakdowns is “living the truth we know” and brings about peace. I will use multiple intelligences in this presentation including PowerPoint, music, and experiential exercises to practice the unitive circle process.

Description
So, you want to write a book. You’ve written hundreds of Sunday messages. You’ve published articles in local papers and your monthly newsletter. Maybe you even have a blog – or you post articles on Facebook. And then, there is this book floating around in your mind. Maybe it’s the best self-help, spiritual book ever. Maybe it’s a collection of those fantastic Sunday messages you’ve been meaning to develop into an anthology. Maybe it’s a memoir – a spiritual message illustrated by the events of your life. Or, maybe, it’s an action-packed mystery filled with intrigue and laced with thought-provoking spiritual ideas. Whatever it is, you can do it. And you don’t have to wait for big-name publishers to pick it up. Nor do you have to wade through the business of Indie-publishing alone. Rev. Eileen Patra, author of “The Mystical Ark: A Vessel of Blessings,” shares the steps that got her book out of the box of unfinished manuscripts to a finished novel available from major retailers around the world. Indie-Publishing can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. It can be fun, exciting – and, it can be a channel for life-long passive income.
