Description: Ethics and values remind our hearts of the sacredness of relationships and provide guidelines for navigating relationships with deep integrity and intentionality. Ethical policy and accountability are essential functions for all organizations and spiritual communities. UWM’s Code of Ethics assist Unity leaders in honoring the sacredness of each interaction.  This Code is more than a set of rules.  Relationships in ministry can be complex, and this Code serves as a roadmap to navigating these relationships with self-awareness and reverence for each person we serve.

In this interactive webinar, we will explore the nature of ethics and accountability and utilize small-groups to engage potential ethical dilemmas and how to work through them with compassion and clear decision-making.

Objectives: by the conclusion of this webinar, participates will be able to:
  • Embrace both the spirit and the letter of the law as it pertains to UWM’s Code of Ethics.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of ethics and its importance in Unity ministry.
  • Think critically about ethical dilemmas and make decisions that support health and wholeness for self and those they serve.
Pre-work: familiarize yourself with UWM’s Code of Ethics and bring questions to session.
