YFM Mini-Trainings
Microlearning (self-paced mini-trainings) for Youth & Family Ministry
Microlearning consists of short training modules that are focused on a specific topic that contain the information necessary to help the learner achieve a specific objective or goal. The training modules are designed to support the growth and development of youth and family ministry programs by offering simple and effective ways to train your staff and volunteers.
Creating a Healthy Brain-Based Learning Environment
This self-paced mini-training is an interactive exploration on how to recognize the three structures or states of the triune brain and to develop simple strategies that will assist in creating a healthy brain-based classroom environment for children and teens. It is divided into three videos: one that explores the Survival state, one that explores the Emotional state, and one that explores the Executive. The training can be used by an individual or can be used as a mini-training during a teachers' meeting.
