Description
Unity of Oroville is a loving, resilient, spiritual community in beautiful, rural, northern California seeking an inspiring spiritual leader who is well-versed in Unity principles and familiar with other faith practices. We are very welcoming of diversity, and are interested in someone who can help us grow our church community.
We have 37 members, and an average attendance of about 30. Our members are extremely supportive of each other within our church community, and also active in, and supportive of the larger community. We are financially sound and we own our church property.
Oroville, a town of 19,000 people, sits at the edge of the Sacramento Valley, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with the beautiful Feather River running through it, all providing many recreational activities. Nearby Chico, home to CSU, Chico, offers cultural exhibits and events, and has the lovely and expansive Bidwell Park.
