Unity Worldwide Ministries Programs and Services to Promote Church Growth
Church Survey/ministry informational survey –Conducting a survey is an ideal way to gain a better understanding of the congregation and its preferences.
Contact Magazine–This free digital magazine is chock-full of articles by people in the field growing and serving our Unity communities. Learn programs and ideas that your peers are using to grow their ministries and our movement. This quarterly magazine is charged with energy and enthusiam by those taking the Unity movement into the future.
Unity People's Convention–Every year your Unity People's Convention offers enlightened keynotes, inspiring musicians and seminars that offer practical tools that can be used in your ministry. It also offers the opportunity to network with your peers about what's working in your ministry. Attendees walk away inspired and energized with the unlimited possibilities that can grow consciousness and ministries.
Enlightened Leaders Program–This program is designed to support ministry leadership teams—the minister(s), board members, licensed teachers, key staff and other essential lay leaders. The purpose of the Enlightened Leaders Program (part of the Transformation Experience) is to create mission-focused enlightened leaders who model a way of relating to the opportunities and challenges of ministry that inspires others to share their gifts and abilities in meaningful roles in the life of the church and in service to the community.
Field Licensing Program–A Unity credentialed leader is always a positive way to grow a ministry. Having someone steeped in the Unity teachings creates a consciousness that people are seeking. Our Field Licensing Program encourages that person who is serving in a leadership role to step into a fuller expression of Unity leadership. It allows them to stay in the ministry while gaining valuable leadership training.
Licensed Teacher Program–As much as some may try, one minister can not fill the needs of an entire spiritual community 24/7. This is where the licensed Unity teacher leadership program serves and helps grow a ministry. Our licensed teachers can teach classes, be chaplains, be church admistrators, and even serve as a specialized leader in the youth and family area of a ministry. These services will help draw new people to the ministry while still serving those already involved. Licensed teachers are also able to serve as spiritual leaders in the absence of a minister, maintaining spiritual and communal continuity.
Thriving in Unity–This program helps you take a look at your ministry in various areas with a new set of eyes. It addresses especially how you present yourself to a visitor and possible new member. In Thriving in Unity 1.0, a set of 12 benchmarks walks you through important pieces like your welcome packet and web presence. Thriving in Unity 2.0 builds on the best practices of Thriving in Unity 1.0, including looking at your Youth and Family Ministry and how to develop leadership within the ministry.
Unity Identity Program–This initiative helps a community be identified as a Unity community. Also known as branding, it gives the community tools that are easily identifiable to those that would be interested in our Unity message. It does this with language, colors, imagery and a logo that are appealing to that audience.
Youth and Family Program–Today's parents are looking for spiritual communities in which to raise their children and involve their teens─communities with open minds and hearts that welcome diversity. Families often find their way to Unity because their child came with a friend. With heart-centered living curriculum that is current and relevant to our kids today, a multigenerational ministry that includes youth and family is a must to grow your ministry..
